This policy explains how Teampl Consulting ("Teampl," "we," "us") collects and uses data when you visit teamplconsulting.com.
Scope of this policy
This policy covers data collected through this website — visiting our pages, using the contact form, and cookies set in your browser. It does not cover data collected as part of a Teampl field data collection engagement (egocentric video, GIS, mystery visits, or other client programmes). That data is governed by the specific project agreement and the consent obtained directly from participants at the point of capture, as described in our Quality & Compliance section — not by this page.
What we collect
| Source | What's collected | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Contact form | Name, work email, and message you submit | To respond to your enquiry and scope a project |
| Advertising cookies | Standard Google Ads measurement data, only after you accept the cookie banner | To measure ad performance and, where you've consented, show you relevant ads later |
| Analytics cookies | Google Analytics (GA4) usage data — pages viewed, general location, device type — only after you accept the cookie banner | To understand site traffic and improve content |
| Aggregate site analytics | Cloudflare Web Analytics — page views, referrer, country, device type. Cookieless; no personal identifiers are stored | To measure overall traffic without tracking individual visitors |
| Hosting & security logs | IP address, browser type, and request logs, collected automatically by our hosting provider | To serve the site and protect it from abuse |
Cookies
We use consent-gated Google Ads and Google Analytics (GA4) tags. By default, both advertising and analytics cookies are set to denied — no data is collected until you click "Accept" on the cookie banner. If you click "Decline," no advertising or analytics cookies are set. Your choice is stored in your browser (not on our servers) so you aren't asked again on future visits, and you can change it anytime using the "Cookie settings" link shown in the bottom-left corner of the site.
Separately, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure overall site traffic. It is cookieless and does not set any cookie or store personal identifiers, so it runs regardless of your cookie banner choice — it only reports aggregate numbers (page views, referrer, country, device type), never anything tied to you individually.
Legal basis for processing
- Contact form submissions are processed based on your consent in submitting the form, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
- Advertising and analytics cookies are processed only with your explicit consent, which you can withdraw at any time via the cookie settings link.
- Aggregate site analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) are processed based on our legitimate interest in understanding site traffic; no cookies or personal identifiers are involved.
- Hosting and security logs are processed based on our legitimate interest in operating and securing the site.
Who we share data with
We use a small number of third-party processors to run this site:
- Formspree — processes and delivers contact form submissions to us.
- Cloudflare — hosts the site, provides content delivery and security infrastructure, and (via Cloudflare Web Analytics) measures aggregate, cookieless traffic.
- Google Ads — receives advertising measurement data, only when you've accepted cookies.
- Google Analytics (GA4) — receives site usage data, only when you've accepted cookies.
These providers may process data outside Estonia or the EU/EEA, including in the United States. Where that happens, it takes place under the data transfer safeguards each provider maintains under GDPR (such as Standard Contractual Clauses). We don't sell visitor data or share it with anyone beyond the processors listed here.
How long we keep it
Contact form enquiries are kept for as long as needed to respond to you and, if a project moves forward, for the duration of the resulting business relationship plus a reasonable period afterward for legal and accounting purposes. Advertising cookie consent is stored in your browser until you clear it or change your choice.
Your rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Restrict or object to certain processing
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out
- Lodge a complaint with the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon) or your local supervisory authority
To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the contact form.
Children's privacy
